How are we gonna make it work if it hurts?
Hello earthlings,
It's 8:11PM, and it's time for a post! (:
I had Art Of Story for my module today, and it was a bit complicated for me to understand. But in the end, I got the jeez of it. Sooooo,
G DOUBLE O D J O B GOOD JOB *CLAP CLAP* GOOD JOB, I guess?
Anyway, today's topic would be pretty relatable to all of you.
So, I've been to
Facebook, and here's what I'm seeing.
_____ In a relationship with _____ .
12 people like this.
Last long bro!
Last long <3
A few weeks later, _____ Is single.
What happened?
Are you okay?
..................
You get what I mean. Don't you? Sometimes, I wonder if people actually take relationships seriously. It's just ridiculous to get into a relationship when you've barely known someone. These days, relationships happen so easily and they end so fast. What love is there in such a short period of time? When you get into a relationship, you get into it because you understand that person, and you're willing to accept all of their flaws and mistakes. You do not get into a relationship simply because you 'wanna see how the journey goes'. That's utter bullshit. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but relationships that last do not simply happen. It takes a lot for two to be together. It's the same thing as being friends. You do not simply walk up to someone and call them your bestfriend, do you? In addition, if you're in a relationship just for the fun of it, screw yourself. What's worst about these relationships are the people that get hurt because of them. They put in whatever they've got into it, and then they're pushed aside like everything was nothing.
Have you ever thought of what impact you could have made on them? What hopes and dreams you may have crushed, what happiness that you have taken away from them?
I know that I'm starting to sound angsty and all, but it's just really disturbing to see such things happen so frequently.
The most disturbing ones are the ones that get into relationships just for sex.
Yes, you heard me.
Sex.
What is the world becoming to? Sex is not something that can be handled carelessly.
I know. That in this society, marriage is not required for two to have sex. But wait. Does that mean that it can be done casually? I've seen guys get into relationships with my friends, and they leave after taking what they want. I don't even need to elaborate on what they've taken.
And that's my point.
I sincerely hope that the world out there would actually take the time to see what's becoming of them. If this goes on, it'd be hard for anything else to last.
If you want to know what's love,
This, is love.
Well, it's breakfast @ Macdonalds with Boyfriend, XJ and Jonathan tomorrow! (:
Looking forward to it, although it's a friday.
And friday means Programming.
But nevermind.
On a side note, does anyone listen to Boyce Avenue?
They're not the best looking guys out there, but their covers can make you go all soft inside. I've been hooked on them since forever, and their cover, 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye Feat. Kimbra is currently on my repeat list.
Here's the
link for it, check it out. (:
Oh, and heads up guys, I've changed my blog's layout a little. On the left, you can see my twitter link! Click on that button, and follow me ;)
Have a great friday tomorrow people,
It's gonna be a brand new day,
Carpe Diem! (:
Love,
Natalie Ishot
