I get tired from trying to be normal.

Hello Beautifuls. (:

So there's a picture of my sleepy Chihuahua, Hazel!

Anyway, here comes the pictures of the Shrimp Linguine that my boyfriend and I had tried to cook yesterday! (:

The recipe that I found came from, of course, my favourite cooking site:

www.allrecipes.com

It has every recipe there, ranging from cookies to full course meals!

As for the recipe that I've used, the link for it is over here. (:

So, let's start off with the cooking! (:

I substituted the Linguine for Angel Hair instead, since I preferred pasta that's lighter. (:

There's my boyfriend preparing to boil the pasta! (Look at those musclessss.) (;

We added olive oil and salt to the water, to prevent the pasta from sticking to one another.

During the 8 minutes of boiling the pasta, we then proceeded to mince the garlic.

Cutest bowl ever, yes? Hehe.

But that aside, it's very important for pasta to have garlic. It gives off a lot of flavor and fragrance, and its a must have to make the cream sauce sweet!

After mincing the garlic, the pasta was then drained and left to cool.

That's my boyfriend frying the garlic with butter. Olive oil can be used too, but butter seemed like a better choice that day.

Then, there comes the cream sauce that we were gonna use! I must say that I think that the sauce was the best to experiment with, because its the most important part of the dish!

Yes that's me!

Looks good, doesn't it? (;

Anddddddd, we're done!

It was a pretty good try for the first time we've experimented with cream-based pasta, as I've only done Aglio Olios before. I've decided to experiment with more cream-based pasta, and hopefully, I'll come back to post on my successes! (:

Would also like to thank my boyfriend for helping me in the kitchen, because I'm not a very organized person.

Oops.

And that's all for yesterday!

As for today, the day was spent with my boyfriend, as usual. (:

Firstly, I went to collect my long awaited hair dye from the post office!

Ta-daaah, La Riche Directions Apricot!

I can't wait to try it, as the first dye that I had bought before showed me great results! (:

For those that are interested in dyeing their hair too, this is where I order my dyes from, here! The shop owner is very friendly, and they are definitely scam-free. (:

In addition, they give points too! (;

And before I forget, I'd be doing a tutorial on how to use the hair dye. Do stay tuned!

So let's go back to today, shall we?

After collecting my hair dye, we then proceeded to Plaza Sing to catch a movie!

That's right, Premium Rush.

It's a movie packed with a lot of action, and a handful of comedy. The plot was quite well-crafted, but it definitely isn't a show for people that don't appreciate action. Two thirds of the movie are screened with a person riding on a bike, so it'd probably appeal to those that love chases.

It's a 3.5/5, still a good watch. (:

Boyfriend and I ordered Couple Rings from Couple Lab too! I'm still excited over them, and I'm not ready to show you guys our rings yet, so I'll probably delay it till the next post, hehe. :>

Thank you to my boyfriend for the great day, Many loves! ^^

Oh, I've signed up for NuffNang! Do click on it for me pretty please? It's the Ad on the left side of my site! (: It'd mean a lot, thank you!

STAY TUNED FOR MY TUTORIAL!

That's all loveliesss. (:

Love,
Natalie Ishot

I know that they said YOLO, but that doesn't mean doing things that would screw up your life.

Hello earthlings,

Today isn't exactly a good day to start with.

Firstly, my Apricot La' Riche Directions Hair Dye came. I ordered it through registered postage, and it came.

But guess what?

I was bathing, and my sister who was in the living room, did not answer the postman's call.

Why?

Because she wasn't wearing any clothes. (I know, explicit.)

And why the hell wasn't she wearing any clothes? God.

But what the fuck?

Imagine the shock and anger that I felt when I got out of the bathroom. Couldn't she have shouted for the postman to wait while she got dressed? Instead, she chose to keep quiet and let the postman leave. And now I have to go to the post office to collect my hair dye myself.

I wouldn't have been so mothaf*ckin angry if it wasn' the third time that this had happened. Registered postage isn't free for god's sake. It's a waste of my time and money to go down to collect my items myself, when I paid for it to be delivered. Shit.

The most infuriating thing of all, was that when I told her that it wasn't funny and that I was seriously pissed, she actually laughed it off like it was a joke. And when she went down to collect mail from the letterbox, she came back with four parcels, which were all hers. Needless to say, she bought white elephants from blog shops again.

Money doesn't drop from the sky, goddammit.

The best best best best part was, when I went out and got home, I realized that the house was in a mess.

Her unwashed uniform was on the sofa, her clothes all over the floor, and she was right in her bed, sleeping, at 8PM.

FYI, she's having PSLE this year, it has started, and trust me, I've seen her study no shit.

I've been talking to her so much, but she always comes up with the worst excuses and the back up from my parents, who obviously spoils her.

I really do not like to rant, but god does she get on my nerves.

Oh well, whatever that floats your boat hun, as long as it doesn't end up sinking.

Dinner was @ King Albert Park, and as usual, it was with my boyfrienddddd!

I haven't had a McSpicy for ages and it felt gooood! (:

We had a mudpie from Island Creamery too! Our picture was pasted on the wall.

In addition, I'll be cooking Prawn Aglio Olio for him tomorrow after he ends work. I hope it turns out well. (:

OH, and for my birthday, my boyfriend and I had decided to sign up for a cooking class @ ToTTs. It's a couple class, and we'll be learning a few dishes. I'm so excited for it!

As for these few days, I've been on GaiaOnline, and yes, I'm a nerdy girl gamer.

It helps me pass time and its pretty exciting to see my items being sold off for a higher price, resulting in me being able to get the stuff that I wannnt! The picture up there is my Avatar, and I'm so goddamn proud of it.

I've been back to AuditionSEA a little too, I'm currently finding an MMORPG game to play, besides the usual Ragnarok and Cabal. I'm not a fan of MapleSEA though, never really sure why.

Have currently stopped playing my Sims 3 along with its other expansion packs because I'm waiting for my 6th Monthsary present from my boyfriend to arrive!

And that is, the Sims 3 Supernatural Expansion Pack!

Thank you boyfriend!

Finally, there'd be witches and vampires and werewolves and fairies and zombies and many many more creatures in Sims 3! What's more thrilling than that?!

Oops. Erm, *ahem*

Back to the topic.

My trip to Goldcoast is coming up soon, I'm not really looking forward to it but oh well. Sherman's going to Japan, and he promised to get me chopsticks over there for my chopsticks collection! Yay! :>

Well, that's all for now, do stay tuned! (:

It's a disease, isn't it? You've caught the disease.

Here's a picture of this evening!

And that's my new tee, 'Shut Up', it says.

I love my T-shirts and my shorts and I wouldn't trade them for dresses or skirts.

But back to where we were.

Let's see,

SAY HELLO TO MY NEW BABY.

Random de' much, but that's my baby Syrian hamster!

I'll be collecting it after my trip to Goldcoast on the October 13th, and I can't wait for that day to comeeee!

It's currently with its breeder now, as it's too young to be rehomed. But good things are worth the wait, aren't they?

These are the pictures they've sent to me!

Sexy little thingggg. (;

And today, I finally experienced the mind-blowing, overwhelming, sickening thing called jealousy.

Whoever whom said,

"I think jealousy is cute."

Should really be given a brain-wash.

Hello? I felt like The Hulk.

I felt like I was about to throw my laptop onto my window, and I really wanted to binge on ice cream, except, The Hulk doesn't eat ice cream.

Jealousy isn't cute at all, and heads up, it's terribly ugly.

Like,

"Bitch, if you touch my man Imma *cracks knuckles*"

You get it.

It's a disease, and I hope that I'd get well soon.

Tomorrow's gonna be pretty uneventful, because I'd be stuck at home. Boyfriend's going to USS, and I do hope that he has fun. Hopefully, he'll get alllllllllll wet in the rides.

Hehehe.

Well, that's all for now.

Goodnight lovelies.

Love,
Natalie Ishot

I'll be your bestfriend, and you'll be my, valentine.

Hello earthlings!

As promised, yesterday's breakfast, om nom nom!

Hmm, yesterday was pretty eventful! (:

To start it off, I got kidnapped.

HAHAHA, but no, that didn't happen.

I had to wake up early in the morning just to go for my dental appointment, and the dentist did some scaling and polishing for me. The pain in my gum is yeap, due to bacteria. ): Was prescribed with a special mouthwash and yay! My teeth doesn't ache anymore!

Next, I went out with my boyfriend to Shenton way to meet his cousin for a lil' while, and to be really honest, I'm a direction idiot.

He had to guide me everywhere, but well, it was pretty fun!

After that, boyfriend then treated me to Charly T's, which is located beside The Cathay.

Here's their speciality (: The original roasted chicken!

Served with a choice of two side dishes,

Either

1. German Potato Salad
2. Fresh Vegetables
3. Butter Garlic Rice
4. Macaroni And Cheese

I chose 3 and 4.

It also comes with a drink!

All these for $13, no GST included.

Thank you to my boyfriend for the treat!

I honestly don't like people treating me though, hence, when we decided to watch a movie, I treated him for his movie ticket.

We watched,

And I'd say,

Fuck the PG13, because this shit is scary as fuck.

Through the entire movie, I spent 1/3 of it watching the screen through my fingers.

In my head, I was screaming,

"YOUR PG13 WAS A LIE."

PG13s are supposed to be amateurish, they're supposed to be horror flicks that always make me feel disappointed.
'
For those who actually know me, I'm a horror movie fan and damn, I don't get frightened easily, not by those lousy American movies that have a terribly bad plot. Really.

For those that are up for a good scare, you know what to watch now.

*shivers*

After the horrifying movie, we then went to his house, where his mum cooked Mee soto for me! (:

She even offered to teach me of how to cook Nasi Goreng next week, that's really kind of her!

That was all for yesterday, and as compared to yesterday, today was terribly boring.

My boyfriend's going for F1, and I'm stuck at home.

Made a decision to go out for lunch with my grandpa, and it was a really wise choice, because I realized something from it.

My grandpa's not working, and I rarely see him these days because of school. So when we went to Beauty World for lunch, he offered to pay for my meal.

When we sat down, I then had a chance to really take a look at him.

"Wow, you're really aging, grandpa."

He doesn't eat as much as he used to now, and he can't chew on food that's too tough.

I spent the rest of lunch staring at my plate and eating.

After we've both finished, he then asked me on where I wanted to go next.

Home, grandpa.

We don't live with each other anymore, because my mum and my grandmother have some issues with each other. During that period of time, I wasn't exactly having the best childhood ever. I was pretty frustrated with my life, and at times, I took my anger out at my Grandpa. I still remember the ways I have shouted at him. Now that we've moved out, things are much quieter now.

Being frustrated wasn't an excuse to have shouted at him.

Tomorrow's his birthday, and I can't even remember of how old he is. Gonna check with dad about Grandpa's age and get a cake from The Icing Room for him, and make a card.

I'm sorry, Grandpa.

Love,
Natalie Ishot

Fumsy Wumsy Tootsie Wootsie.

It's a terribly lazy Wednesday, ain't it?

I feel like punching the weather on it's face because it's too warm to cuddle under the blankets right now. And I'm sleepy.

It's 1:06PM in the afternoon, and I'm not washed up. As you can see, I'm still in my oversized tee.

I've been feeling terribly cranky nowadays.

BECAUSE,

1. My beloved Google Chrome keeps freezing and killing my pages.

2. The weather sucks.

3. My gum and tooth hurts.

4. I want to sleep but there's renovation going on at the top of my apartment. Snore snore snore DRILLLLLL, BZZZZZ, DRILLLL, KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK, BZZZZZZZZZ.

FARKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

Speaking about The Number 3, I'm having a dental checkup tomorrow. I've got a feeling it's an abscessed tooth. A tooth that has it's root canal decayed, because of an infection in the gum's nerve.

It hurts like crazy whenever I chew, and the pain just throbs at the back of your mouth, it gnaws. It gnaws so bad that I couldn't even sleep last night.

Explains my terribly foul mood today.

Well, at least my breakfast managed to cheer me up. A little.

A little.

I'll upload its picture on the next post.

That's all folks.

Love,
Natalie Ishot

But are you willing to pay the price your freedom will cost?

Hello, world.

I've been spending the past two days at my boyfriend's house, as my relative passed away and there isn't anyone at home. I would like to thank his mummy for making sure that my stomach's always filled! (:

Hmm, here's a picture of the breakfast I've made for myself before going to his house!

A sauteed sausage, baked hashbrown, tiny omelette and a sprinkle of some parsley and mozzarella cheese! Sounds yummy, right? (:

And this was today's breakfast!

A sunny side-up, a sweetened egg, a lil' bit of sausages and a mozzarella cheese toast! (:

As you can see, my breakfast ingredients are always revolving around those items.

Well, it's making do of what you have, and sometimes, playing around with the ingredients results in other creations!

Take the sweetened egg for an instance. It was actually done by my boyfriend whom had decided to come over to have breakfast with me. As he loved the Tamago sushi, he decided to add sugar into the usual egg mixture!

For those that do not know what's a Tamago sushi, it's actually an egg which is fried with sugar, soy sauce and mirin. (:

He also cut the sausages into numbers, which represented the date that we got together! (;

24.03.2012.

It was also his first time trying to cook a sunny side-up, and boy, was it difficult to teach him. I look forward to the one day that he's finally able to cook one by himself!

Anyway, I'd like to talk about second chances today.

I'm pretty sure that everyone has heard of King Midas? The king whom wished for everything he touched to turn into gold? Classic fairy tale.

The thing is, sometimes, a fairy tale isn't just a bed time story. It isn't just a story that's said to pass time.

In the end, King Midas almost starved to death because he couldn't eat. The only reason of why he survived, was that he was given a second chance to make another wish. WHICH, was to of course, remove the first wish that he has asked for.

You know, life is funny. We're human, and so we make mistakes.

From time to time, we screw up chances that are given to us.

If we're lucky, we get another try. If we're not, then it's bye bye to opportunity!

There's only one thing to learn from this, and that's to always make the most out of what is given to you, no matter how important it is.

Chances are not always given, and they should never be taken for granted.

I just don't get of how some people never learn from their mistakes, and they think that repeating it is fine. They're usually egged on by the people who keep giving in to them, giving them the illusion that whatever they're doing is totally okay.

They just don't see the consequences of what they're doing. *facepalms* Well of course, it's probably because they never had had to face any consequences.

Like, I'm sick and tired of being nice and being all trampled upon, are you? Giving chances to those that do not deserve them, only because you think that they'll probably change after they've realized the mistake is done.

Some people do learn from their mistake and they'd cherish the second chance given to them. Some people don't.

I mean, it is called a second chance for a reason, right?

I've never heard of such things like third chance or forth chance.

It's ridiculous.

Cherish your chances, and make the most out of everything. That's all to it.

And fairy tales aren't all merry after all.

Well lookie, in actual fact, King Midas wasn't given a second chance to remove his wish, and he really starved to death.

Not a very pretty ending, aye?

And that's all for it.

Went shopping with my girlfriend today, and as usual, I annoyed the hell out of her. We were at orchard, and with soooo many $1 pushcart ice creams, I definitely needed to stop to get one.

ICE CREAAAAAAAAAM!

I obviously took the one with the shortest queue, and I ordered my favourite sweet corn ice cream in a cup.

To my horror, with the shortest queue, apparently, it meant getting the thinnest bar of ice cream in my whole life. As I walked on the street, I saw other people with even thicker bars of ice cream. GODDAMMIT.

And so I complained, and I whined, and I did a little cry, all about the ice cream I was cheated of.

Le' girlfriend annoyed.

Would like to thank her for shopping with me though. ^~^

There's guitar class tomorrow, and it'd be my third last lesson. Apparently, the new teacher isn't teaching me what I need to learn, and I need to move on.

Currently trying to find a cooking class.

And that's all folks! (:

Love,
Natalie Ishot

Oh I swear to you, I'll be there for you, this is not a drive by.

Hello beautifuls. (:

I'm sorry that I haven't been blogging lately, it's all due to work...and a tiny bit of laziness.

ANYWAY, yes, I've dyed my hair.

Taaa-daaah , La' Riche's Directions Red Pillarbox hair dye!

The colour isn't very vibrant, but the internet says that it's supposed to last for two months.

Oh well, good enough!

And of course, there was yesterday, where my boyfriend's birthday was celebrated at the Singapore Zoological Gardens!

I'm not going to go into describing all the animals and shit, cause that would be really boring for you guys, aye?

Just a couple of pictures here and there. (:

Sooo, I'm only going to zoom in on the funny parts.

Off to the zoo we go!

To start it off, the weather wasn't exactly nice to us yesterday, cause it was raining cats and dogs.

Three cheers for the cute umbrella!

We were stuck under a shelter, and we had an Elephant show to watch.

Hence, I made the only decision that I could make.

We walked under the rain.

Early in the morning, the obstinate me had decided to wear my favourite Converse sneakers instead of slippers, which my boyfriend had suggested. It was a bad decision, I realised, after my entire shoe and socks were soaked with water.

"BABYYYYYYYYYY, MY SHOES ARE WET AND MY SOCKS ARE SOAKED! MY FEET'S SO COLD I'LL GET HYPOTHERMIAAAA!"

I whined under the rain.

"YOU SEE? I TOLD YOU TO WEAR SLIPPERS ALREADY RIGHT? I KNEW IT. I KNEW THAT THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN. AND DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU'LL GET HYPOTHERMIA, I STUDIED IT FOR 6 MONTHS. IF I COULD REWIND TIME 8 HOURS BACK AND SHOW YOU WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW, YOU'LL WEAR YOUR SLIPPERS AND YOU WOULDN'T BE WHINING. "

He complained.

And I laughed. I laughed so hard, as I grabbed onto his arm, and I didn't stop until we reached the shelter.

Only to find out that the show was cancelled.

Oh god.

So we lazed a little while over there, and at 5PM, we then headed on to watch the sealion show.

Being all adventurous, I of course, decided to sit on the Splash Zone.

Splat, right in the middle.

It was funny of how no one else sat there though.

I found out why when the show started.

The sea lion practically sent waves of Tsunamis on us.

And halfway through getting my hair soaked, I then held on to baby's tiny towel and screamed,

"YOU HOLD ONE SIDE I HOLD ONE SIDE!"

And there we were, hiding ourselves behind the tiny teeny weny towel.

He was still shouting,

"I TOLD YOU IT WAS A BAD IDEA, I TOLD YOU RIGHT?"

I just find his way of expressing himself so funny, it's on the verge of epic.

So cuteeeee.

Right after that, we then cabbed home, wet shoes, tangled hair, tight hugs and all.

We were supposed to go for a swim, so we got changed, and down to the poolside we went!

I actually planned a surprise for him, so halfway through eating, I gave an excuse of going upstairs to get my goggles.

When I was actually preparing his birthday cake and present!

So down I went, and when I was reaching, I lighted up the candle. (:

He turned around and saw me, and goddd, he said he saw the birthday cake plan coming!

It's a birthday cake decorated by me @ The icing room, and he said that it was really cuteee. :>

I sang the birthday song for him, he made a wish, and cut the cake. (:

I then gave him his present!

The present was a hand-sewn bear that I made, and a Smiggle Music splitter! (:

I named the bear Chuchu, and I guessed he probably loved the present, because here he is, hugging it now.

We had a can of beer and Sour cream and onion popcorn from Cornery, then he headed home. (:

I'm just so glad that everything I've planned out turned out well, and I'm happy that he enjoyed his birthday! (:

And before I forget, we bought this from the Souvenir shop!

We split them into half, and so right now, I have glowing elephants on my wall!
I love you hun, and I wouldn't mind spending so much effort again just for you.

Couple blog's gonna be updated soon, stay tuned guys!

Love,
Natalie Ishot
