But every chance we get, we run.
Hello pretties,
I'm back! (:
The picture above is totally candid, I had no idea on how to pose, and the camera was counting down. I had no choice but to sit awkwardly there and then.
Well, here's one with my dog.
I think that the
bottom right one is the most priceless photo though.
(Look at Hazel's face!)
It kinda reminds you of another photo you've seen on the web, right?
Eww. I hope I don't look like her, and on a side note, my dog doesn't mind it. She wears that expression almost every time she's picked up.
But she does look like she's screaming,
"MUMMY'S GONNA EAT MEEEE".
But I swear, I'm not eating her. ):
Anyway, I'm here to talk about
Commitment, the base of all relationships.
You can tell me that Commitment is simple. Commitment is just being there for the person you love, no matter what.
But
no.
It's not just that.
Sure enough, if you're committed to someone, you'd always stay by them, under any circumstances. If you don't do otherwise, then it wouldn't be called commitment. It wouldn't be called love.
Some people think that commitment is easy. But what really is commitment?
Commitment requires
sacrifice.
You love someone, you'd be there for them, you'd do anything that's right for them.
In order to be committed, you must love that person enough for it.
Everyone is
afraid of commitment at times. It's an issue of finding someone that's
worth it.
It's funny of how people find it hard to commit to their commitments.
People enter a relationship without thinking about their priorities. That results in their partner being neglected or hurt.
Some people encounter problems in their relationships, and then they decide to
let go of everything.
They would say that they've done enough, that they've nothing more to talk about, nothing else to explain.
Let me tell you this.
If you really love someone, you wouldn't push them away. There's 'solving the problem', but there's no 'letting go'.
Have you really done your best to solve the problem? Solving the problem, and facing what both of you feel, that's commitment. Is the problem solved if you walk away? Do you count yourself as someone committed, when all you've done is run away?
No matter how tired you are, no matter how hurt you feel, you keep on fighting.
You don't quit.
You give your best, but you don't expect anything in return. If they love you enough, If you matter so much to them, they would never let you go.
And if they do, then it's simply time to move on, because you've done your part. They've shown you that you love them more than they love you, and that you deserve
more than this.
Commitment is sacrificing, being brave, giving your best, and being there.
Commitment is love.
You love something, you commit to it.
And with that, I'll end it off here.
Two more papers to go for UT2, and I'm done till Febuary! (:
Sleep early guys!
Love,
Natalie Ishot

Not again?
I hate to leave you guys, but the picture says it all.
I'm feeling terribly lazy though, I do hope that I can pull through this.
Well, I'm not the only feeling lazy.
Plus, it's fucking ticks season, and my poor Hazel has ticks biting her.
Just brought her to the vet yesterday, hope she'll get well soon. ):
See you guys, till next time! (':

"Stawwwwwwp. I'm too big to be held in your hand!"
Yhello!
That's my Agnes, the heavyweight champion of
180 grams!
Oh well. She doesn't like to be held, but she sure has my gaming genes!
Ain't she a
cutie?
By the way, the game that I've been playing on the Nintendo DS is actually
Animal Crossing; Wild World.
It's like the younger version of The Sims, as instead of interacting with humans, you interact with animals!
In addition, you earn a living by fishing or collecting bugs to sell. How adorable is that! They even use Turnips as 'shares'. The price rises and drops on certain days, and you simply have to trust your guts on whether its the right time to sell them.
I would pretty recommend this game to Harvest Moon lovers, because its gameplay is so similar to it.
I mean like, come onnn. Who doesn't love Harvest Moon? I even have the emulator on my laptop!
What? I love my Harvest Moon okay. I've been following it since the launch of PS1. It's been on every game console I've ever had. Gameboy Advance to the Playstation Portable.
I'm wondering if there's one on PS3!
Well, I think it's enough of games for now!
Let's go a little more to fooood.
KUNG FU PARADISEEE @ J cube!
The custard buns there are at 3 for $3.90, but damnnn are they
good.
I tried the beef burger while my boyfriend had the chicken chop noodles, which I terribly disliked.
The beef burger was good though! It's priced at $5.90, and it's portion is quite acceptable as it was a bit filling for me.
I'm visiting this place again soon. It's a definite yes.
YES FOR
CUSTARD BUNS!
With that, I shall end off right here!
Stay tuned okay? (:

It's okay that you've got a bad grade.
It's okay if you're not skinny and do not have bright eyes, nor fit into size four jeans.
It's okay if boys don't whistle at you. (I mean like, you're not a dog, aren't you?)
It's okay if your friends are leaving you. If they were really friends, they would be sitting next to you and not making you feel like shit.
It's okay if your parents shout at you. They're trying their best and I don't think that they remember being teenagers anyway.
It's okay if you feel like you've lost yourself. Everybody does from time to time.
It's okay if you're searching for that missing part of you. We all are.
It's okay to feel alone. But you must often remind yourself that you are not.
You must remind yourself that you are a unique individual that no one else can ever be. And that's damn well good enough.
Hello lovelies.
I'm back! (:
School reopened today, and similarly to all teenagers, I'm still in the holiday mood. It feels like Monday got
married to Wednesday too. It feels like a
blue Monday. Damn.
So of course, I've slogged through the day and I'm confident of securing my
A as for now. Even the facilitator felt the lethargic vibes from us students, and he offered us Mentos.
Le' sigh very berry much.
Anyway, how was your new year countdown? (:
Looking at online feedbacks, it seems like the countdown at
Scape was a blast, with all the 'eh wah eh wah eh wah'?
But to be honest, I've never really gotten the jeez of that, and it sounds all so alien to me. To be fair, I'm not hating on it like my boyfriend is!
My countdown was spent near the bridge @ Esplanade with my boyfriend. The fireworks were
B-E-A-U-tiful, but it was so smokey at a point of time that I couldn't really see the fireworks well.
Why like that? (':
In addition, it was
raining heavily earlier on, and it was
muddy everywhere. My favourite
Red Converse Sneakers immediately looked like it has been through a swamp after I left the place.
After the fireworks were over, we then walked around and grabbed drinks from
Makansutra Gluttons Bay, which was just opposite Marina Square!
I've personally tried the
Laksa there, and although it is a little pricey @
$6 for 1 bowl, its portion is quite big and it tastes damnnn good! The BBQ chicken wings there aren't recommended though. They look like tiny little chicks that have been picked from their mama's bum bums and barbequed for a premature death.
In nicer words, they're
tiny as hell.
I had this mad craving for Mcdonald's Hotcakes in the wee hours of the morning when I woke up on the day of the countdown. Hence, I then told my boyfriend that I had to have the Hotcakes for breakfast soon. Soooo, we were actually supposed to go home and sleep after the countdown, and then wake up @
6AM for my VIP Hotcakes.
Well well, guess what?
Marina and Esplanade were so congested due to the human traffic and blockage of roads, that we were stuck there for an hour and more. Thanks to the spotting of some youngsters walking into the Esplanade carpark, we then smartly followed them to escape the human traffic.
We ended up reaching Mcdonald's @ Beauty World around 2:30AM, and boy, were we tired. Hence, Plan B was executed and we decided to simply spend the rest of the time over there, as their breakfast starts at 4AM.
Yes yes. I'm a badass girl waiting for her Hotcakes!
Time seemed to pass really slowly, and
ta-daaaah, came the pictures.
Hello eyebags of 2013!
In the end, breakfast started only @ 4:15AM, and by then, I was too tired to have any appetite for Hotcakes.
Shit.
But I bought them Ala Carte anyway. And I crafted them into a 'F1 racing car'.
Looks more like a Beatle though. The House of Hotcakes that I created previously looked much better.
Gaaah. Effects of the 4:15AM crafting.
Went home with my tummy feeling all weird with Hotcakes, and I slept till 12 noon.
SO. That's my countdown.
Ze' holidays are over, so stop your slacking folks! Time to pull your socks up and blast off! (:
See you guys in awhile!
Love,
Natalie Ishot
