It's okay that you've got a bad grade.

It's okay if you're not skinny and do not have bright eyes, nor fit into size four jeans.

It's okay if boys don't whistle at you. (I mean like, you're not a dog, aren't you?)

It's okay if your friends are leaving you. If they were really friends, they would be sitting next to you and not making you feel like shit.

It's okay if your parents shout at you. They're trying their best and I don't think that they remember being teenagers anyway.

It's okay if you feel like you've lost yourself. Everybody does from time to time.

It's okay if you're searching for that missing part of you. We all are.

It's okay to feel alone. But you must often remind yourself that you are not.

You must remind yourself that you are a unique individual that no one else can ever be. And that's damn well good enough.

Hello lovelies.

I'm back! (:

School reopened today, and similarly to all teenagers, I'm still in the holiday mood. It feels like Monday got married to Wednesday too. It feels like a blue Monday. Damn.

So of course, I've slogged through the day and I'm confident of securing my A as for now. Even the facilitator felt the lethargic vibes from us students, and he offered us Mentos.

Le' sigh very berry much.

Anyway, how was your new year countdown? (:

Looking at online feedbacks, it seems like the countdown at Scape was a blast, with all the 'eh wah eh wah eh wah'?

But to be honest, I've never really gotten the jeez of that, and it sounds all so alien to me. To be fair, I'm not hating on it like my boyfriend is!

My countdown was spent near the bridge @ Esplanade with my boyfriend. The fireworks were B-E-A-U-tiful, but it was so smokey at a point of time that I couldn't really see the fireworks well.

Why like that? (':

In addition, it was raining heavily earlier on, and it was muddy everywhere. My favourite Red Converse Sneakers immediately looked like it has been through a swamp after I left the place.

After the fireworks were over, we then walked around and grabbed drinks from Makansutra Gluttons Bay, which was just opposite Marina Square!

I've personally tried the Laksa there, and although it is a little pricey @ $6 for 1 bowl, its portion is quite big and it tastes damnnn good! The BBQ chicken wings there aren't recommended though. They look like tiny little chicks that have been picked from their mama's bum bums and barbequed for a premature death.

In nicer words, they're tiny as hell.

I had this mad craving for Mcdonald's Hotcakes in the wee hours of the morning when I woke up on the day of the countdown. Hence, I then told my boyfriend that I had to have the Hotcakes for breakfast soon. Soooo, we were actually supposed to go home and sleep after the countdown, and then wake up @ 6AM for my VIP Hotcakes.

Well well, guess what?

Marina and Esplanade were so congested due to the human traffic and blockage of roads, that we were stuck there for an hour and more. Thanks to the spotting of some youngsters walking into the Esplanade carpark, we then smartly followed them to escape the human traffic.

We ended up reaching Mcdonald's @ Beauty World around 2:30AM, and boy, were we tired. Hence, Plan B was executed and we decided to simply spend the rest of the time over there, as their breakfast starts at 4AM.

Yes yes. I'm a badass girl waiting for her Hotcakes!

Time seemed to pass really slowly, and ta-daaaah, came the pictures.

Hello eyebags of 2013!

In the end, breakfast started only @ 4:15AM, and by then, I was too tired to have any appetite for Hotcakes.

Shit.

But I bought them Ala Carte anyway. And I crafted them into a 'F1 racing car'.

Looks more like a Beatle though. The House of Hotcakes that I created previously looked much better.

Gaaah. Effects of the 4:15AM crafting.

Went home with my tummy feeling all weird with Hotcakes, and I slept till 12 noon.

SO. That's my countdown.

Ze' holidays are over, so stop your slacking folks! Time to pull your socks up and blast off! (:

See you guys in awhile!

Love,
Natalie Ishot
